Intermission Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Intermission is a small iPhone app for your Trakt account. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it.

The short version

What goes to Trakt

When you sign in, Trakt gives the app a sign-in token for your account. The app sends these to Trakt, using that token:

Trakt stores your account, history and watchlist. Trakt’s privacy policy and terms apply to that data.

What goes to TMDB

To fill in artwork, cast and where-to-watch details, the app asks TMDB about titles and people by their TMDB ID. These requests carry no information about you or your Trakt account. TMDB’s privacy policy applies to them. Streaming availability is supplied to TMDB by JustWatch.

What stays on your iPhone

The Home Screen widget reads the same saved copies and never uses the network.
