Common questions

Do I need a Trakt account?

Yes. Intermission shows and updates your Trakt account and has no accounts of its own. A free Trakt account works.

What does Intermission change in my Trakt account?

Only what you do in the app: marking episodes and movies as watched or unwatched, adding titles to your watchlist or removing them, and hiding shows from Up Next. It doesn’t rate, check in, comment or change your lists.

What do Sign out and Clear Cache do?

Both are in Settings, and neither changes your Trakt account. Sign out removes your sign-in, saved screens, artwork, recent searches and pending reminders from your iPhone, and asks Trakt to revoke the app’s access. Clear Cache removes saved screens, artwork and recent searches, and keeps you signed in.

How do I delete my Trakt account?

On trakt.tv, sign in and go to Settings > Data. In the app, Settings > Delete Trakt Account… opens the same page. Intermission doesn’t create accounts, and deleting the app removes everything it stored on your iPhone.

Why is my Watch Next widget empty?

The widget shows what the app last saved and never goes online by itself. Open Intermission and let it finish loading once, and the widget fills in.
